No toxic substances

The RoHs directive limits use of certain substances (lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and two flame retardants, PBB and PBDE) in electrical goods. We take every precaution to avoid using dangerous substances in our products.

  - We only use lead-free solders in our electronic components.
  - We use BFR-free plastics in all our plastic components.

Saving energy

Because saving energy helps save the environment and also saves money, Scott has improved the energy efficiency of its products.

All Scott products comply with the California Energy Commission (CEC) and the European norm (EUP) .

Scott recycling programme

At Scott, we use recycled plastics in the manufacture of our products. This helps reduce waste and consequently pollution.

Our catalogues and leaflets all carry the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label, a guarantee to theconsumer that they are manufactured using paper sourced from sustainable forests.
